Consultation:
The proper analysis of deformities and undesirable conditions can best be evaluated during a consultation. It is at this time for you to express specific concerns, and gives the doctor an opportunity to formulate a treatment plan to help correct this.
We attach a great deal of importance to your consultation, which generally takes an hour. It gives us a chance to meet and to review your specific desires. During this time, we can outline treatment alternatives, discuss expected outcomes, and review risks, complications and costs.
A consultation is especially important as it creates a patient/physician relationship based on trust, experience and expertise. We consider all of our patients as part of our "family", and therefore the door is always open for future visits. You are encouraged to review our website so that they will be better informed of the desired procedure.
During the consultation, you will meet with Dr. Volshteyn and one of our patient coordinators as well as the rest of our staff.
Financial Policy:
We request payment for consultations, treatments for injectables, and any advanced skin care procedure at the time
the service is provided in the office.
Our staff will be happy to answer any questions concerning fees, payments due or payment options available.
Payment for cosmetic surgery procedures will be discussed during your consultation visit. A 10 percent deposit, or $500.00, whichever is greater, is required to secure a surgical date. $500.00 of the deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation. The balance of your fees are due 2-3 weeks before your surgery. A personal check, money order, or credit card payment will be accepted for your balance. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
Financing is available through variety of finance companies. Refer to the Financing Section of our website for more information or apply on-line. Please feel free to contact us regarding other plastic surgery financing plans that may be available to you.
There will be a $50.00 fee for any checks returned for non-sufficient funds.
Surgery Scheduling:
One of our assistants can assist you with questions regarding your upcoming surgery. They will explain pre-operative instructions. If you need to re-schedule
or cancel your surgery, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible.
Post-op Care:
Dr. Volshteyn takes 24-hour call 7 days a week for his patients following their surgery. All patients have access to Dr. Volstheyn, and they will receive a
call the evening following surgery. Patients become part of our "family" and there is no charge for follow-up
visits.
Insurance and Billing:
We work with all different insurance companies, however we are not exclusively contracted with any insurance company. If your plan allows, we
will file insurance claims for reconstructive procedures. Please help us process these claims promptly by bringing
your insurance information with you on your first visit.
Our staff will verify the coverage provided by your health insurance plan before surgery. The patient is responsible for the co-pay, deductible, and co-insurance. The patient may also be responsible for any amount that is not covered by insurance.
Remember that your health care policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. It is ultimately the patient's responsibility to pay for services provided by our office.
For any additional questions regarding our office policies, please call 732-641-3350 and one of our friendly staff members will happily assist you.
