Dr. Boris Volshteyn is a board certified plastic surgeon. He received his medical degree from the University of
Missouri-Columbia graduating magna cum laude. His surgical training in general and plastic surgery was completed at
the University of Missouri. He concluded a year of clinical research and fellowship in microsurgery and additionally
trained in cosmetic surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital (MEETH) in New York City. He received advanced
training in mesotherapy in Paris, France under renowned Dr. Jacquesce Coz and in cell therapy in Lausanne,
Switzerland.

Dr. Volshteyn holds a Master of Science in Applied Human Physiology from the University of Health Sciences in
Chicago.
He was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), the most prestigious National Medical Honor Society for his contributions
to medicine over the years. He also received recognition and numerous awards for his research as well as resident and
medical student teaching, including the coveted Sandoz and MU Chancellor's Award. His merritt also includes a research
grant from the American Lipoplasty Society.
His research on liposuction safety, the reliability of computer imaging in cosmetic plastic surgery, and
effectiveness of newer techniques in facial rejuvenation (facelift surgery) has been presented at various national
meetings as well as published in professional journals.
Dr. Volshteyn is a member of several medical societies, including the American Society for Plastic Surgery (ASPS). As
an active participant of national and international meetings in plastic surgery, he travels the world seeking the most
current and successful treatments available.
